The safety case for pulsing brake lights
It has been scientifically proven that cars equipped with a pulsing brake light will alert following drivers significantly earlier compared to regular high mounted brake lights.
Driving at a speed of 80 km/h and performing an emergency brake, the result can be a shorter brakeway up to 4 metres, the difference between a crash and safe driving.

At the same time the high mounted brake light can also be used to indicate a slow deceleration, making sure that following drivers will not perform unnecessary emergency brakes and cause no sudden reaction behind them.

The B480 converts your high mounted brake light into a variable pulsing brake light. By indicating your deceleration following drivers can perfectly anticipate.

The B480 can be used on any high mounted brake light. Installation is simple and can be done within 30 minutes.

Using CPU based technology the B480 converts the deceleration into a pulsing signal which is fed to the brake light.
A quick pulse when braking strongly, a slow pulse when braking softly.

The B480 is available in 2 versions
B480-V with the variable pulsing brake light option same as shown on the video presentation and the B480-F with only 1 high pulsing frequency in case of an emergency brake. Model B480-F is identical to the option as offered by a famous German car manufacturer.
